This seems to be a perfect fit for me because I can't commit the time to go to a guitar building luthier class. The online classes are very well done and it's easy to follow along and see exactly how a master luthier repairs and sets up the various kinds of guitars as each type has their own unique requirements. The comprehensive tool and supply list is also very helpful as you have the same tools as Barrett is using in the videos. Very good investment if you're interested in guitars.

I've been very pleased with the Southeast Guitar Repair Academy. It is a well designed course and most importantly, Barrett and Mindy care a great deal about it and about helping the students. I was a bit nervous about enrolling in an online repair course, but it has been great so far. The course has many built-in ways of asking questions, and Mindy is very responsive to emails.
